Commentary
Composed in 2002, Commentary is intended as a critique of the mediated dissemination of information pertaining to the pre-emptive attack on Iraq. The sound sources were recorded from major media networks over a period of two days. At times humorous and absurd, the interwoven texture of electronic sounds, media catch phrases, and administration propaganda create a commentary that makes transparent the hollowness of media content.
